This cozy spot is more than just a place to grab a quick bite; it's a destination for passionate coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With its laid-back atmosphere and stunning views of the water, Rosie Oats is perfect for both a leisurely breakfast and a caffeine-fueled afternoon.

Step inside Rosie Oats, and you'll be greeted by a vibrant space that is both funky and inviting. Customers are often drawn in by the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and as several reviews attest, this place serves some of the best in the area. Cait Williams, a traveler with discerning taste, raved specifically about their "damn amazing coffee." This café caters to the fussy coffee drinker, ensuring you'll find the perfect cup to satisfy your daily cravings.

Given its enticing menu, the food offerings at Rosie Oats are not to be missed. Imagine sinking your teeth into their Classic Bacon and Egg Roll on a Soft Milk Bun, a breakfast classic that is both hearty and satisfying. For something a bit more adventurous, try the Phat Bagel or the Smoked Salmon Bagel—each bite is packed with flavor. If you're in the mood for something unique, be sure to sample the Big Bang Bagel or indulge in the perfect blend of salty and savory with their Bacon, Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Roll.

The café also accommodates diverse diets, offering add-ons like gluten-free bread and a variety of proteins, including smoked salmon and pulled pork, allowing you to customize your meal to suit your preferences. And if you’re looking for a refreshing drink, don't forget to try one of their smoothies, such as the Banana Chai Smoothie or Green Warrior Smoothie—the perfect accompaniment to any meal.

The atmosphere at Rosie Oats plays a significant role in its charm. With outdoor seating available, you can enjoy your meal while soaking in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. Some reviews highlight the casual vibe and the cozy structure, making it an excellent location to relax with friends or family. Karen Mackinnon notes the puppy-friendly policy, so you can enjoy your delicious coffee alongside your furry friend.

While the service can occasionally be on the slower side, it adds to the relaxed feel of the café, allowing you to unwind and savor your time there. As Pamela AK pointed out, the prices may be on the higher side, especially with the 10% weekend surcharge, but the delicious offerings—like their unique coconut bread—are well worth it. The supportive staff are always keen to ensure you have a pleasant experience and are ready to assist if anything on the menu runs out.

In conclusion, Rosie Oats is an essential stop for anyone visiting Burrill Lake. Whether you're looking for a fantastic cup of coffee, a hearty breakfast, or just a space to enjoy the surrounding beauty, this café has it all. With its inventive menu, friendly atmosphere, and vibrant community vibe, you might just find yourself returning again and again.

Funky little cafe. Amazing, and I mean damn amazing coffee! I’m a fussy coffee drinker and finder as we travel across the lands of AU for the year and RO’s fulfilled our daily need for 10 days while we were staying in the area. Service a tiny bit slow and casual, perhaps the vibe. Food very good! A cool place in a sweet location. Thanks all.

Great little cafe with delicious food & great atmosphere. The only feedback would be to ensure any changes to menu are communicated when someone orders. We ordered the beef burger which on the menu comes with waffle fries. We ordered this for our son to eat but when it came out, we were given a handful of potato crisps. When I asked they said they were out of waffle fries, so I had to order him something else. Not the end of the world but just really frustrating as we had to wait for his new purchase food to come out.

Walked here from the caravan park for a morning coffee, My husband had a cappuccino & I ordered a mocha. Both were delicious! thanks to the barista on shift during the week - as the weekend barista was different

We always come here. Practically live here. The food is always amazing. The view. That's all well and good. But the staff. The staff are what makes it. They are amazing.

Rosie Oats, tucked away in the far corner of tiny Burrill Lake shopping centre, should be recognised as a cafe icon of the Sapphire Coast. Offering a menu of deliciousness from small eats through, he chose the rich and sumptuous eggplant sub. I was carried away with the sourdough steak sandwich and it's tangy horseradish sauce. And our friend, a relish fiend, downed a very hearty big bang bagel. All topped off with great coffee and fun and friendly service. Thank you Charlie - you made our experience at Rosie Oats great.
